Let's face it - English is a crazy language.
There is no egg in eggplant, nor ham in hamburger; neither apple nor pine in pineapple. English muffins weren't invented in England or French fries in France . Sweetmeats are candies while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat. We take English for granted. But if we explore its paradoxes, we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.
And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth, beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices? Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend? If you have a bunch of odds and ends and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?
If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught? If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat? Sometimes I think all the English speakers should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell?
How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which, an alarm goes off by going on.
English was invented by people, not computers, and it reflects the creativity of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all That is why, when the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible.

昨晚把鬧鐘設了8.00 am。
結果今天早上鬧鐘響的時候就把它放SLEEP，我也繼續SLEEP。
然後9.11am， Ambrose打給我。幸好囉！不然真的會死人==
9.35am 到了CIRCULAR QUAY，他媽的死TAXI要$17.50 ><
點了名就上FERRY，出發到TARONGA ZOO。
今天，就是我們AUSTRALIAN STUDIES的戶外教學。

不錯喇，不用一直跟著老師走。
自由活動醬。
可是跟那堆大陸人走就覺得很丟臉了==
看到樹熊就一直在那邊叫叫叫！
然後人家是拍動物，他們就堆在那邊拍那些介紹動物的牌==
雖然是戶外教學，要做練習，可是也不用這樣吧...

然後我今天好像見到一個臺灣人穿豹紋的外套，初初還以為看到豹在我旁邊@@
很開心呢，我今天竟然動了蛇！^^
我以前動也不敢動的囉...
SYDNEY的動物園還ＯＫ不錯下。
而且可以看到整個SYDNEY的風景。
多謝上天讓今天的天氣陰涼，不像昨天那麼熱。
這裡的動物跟我上次去上海動物園的那些動物真的差太多了。
在上海的動物園給你看那些狗狗貓貓，金魚==
還有人在釣魚...
而且這裡真的乾淨。
現在回到沖了涼就不知道做什麽好

明天又有另一個戶外教學，去法庭。
好累

好久沒UPDATE了。
真不好意思。
最近日子就是這樣過。
現在剛放完假，就沒有動力讀書了。
想日子快點過，快快回大馬見我的家人，見我的朋友...
SYDNEY的天氣也怪怪的。
上個星期突然氣溫下降，變得很冷很冷。
現在卻熱得要命！
出門都不知道帶不帶冷衣好。
放假前學校很白癡，竟然給我們三個RESEARCH ESSAY做！而且每一篇都至少要1500個字。
快瘋了。
不知道要怎麼把那些字嘔出來 ==
好多人都出國讀書了。
育仁紹瑜去了北京，棟樑都去了臺灣，詩雅去了上海，潘思漩去了BOSTON，豆腐去了MELBOURNE，嘉雯來了SYDNEY，慧雯儒俊去了香港。
各各都到處飛。
還有46天哦！
大家都跟我倒數！
好期待，期待到沒有心情讀書了。
腦海裡就是想著要快快去機場搭飛機回去大馬。
